This is a documentary about Carina, who has chosen to live a life as a naturist in a colony in Southern Brazil. The dialogue is in Brazilian Portuguese.
This I enjoyed very, very much and even though we do not have anyone from Brazil who is current, I really like what she has to say thru this entire two part video Documentary.

I remember this! I came across it on dailymotion when I was bored looking for Positive depictions of nudies. She seems kinda mean to her BF though. Otherwise, I would LOVE to live the life she does.

I agree Danee this is a great documentary. Don't let the Portuguese put you off, it has english subtitles for those English speaking/ reading members.

Document gives a great idea who you really can change you´re life with your principles if you are willing to. Unfortunately that kind of paradise does not found in far north as Finland - so that´s the end of the game for me. :56789

I watched the entire thing and loved it! I especially like that she's sticking up for what she believes in. I know it must difficult and she should be praised for how awesome she is. Also I'm super jealous. She lives in a PARADISE. Did you see those waterfalls?

Dude, its a damn rainforest that she lives in. It's where all those cheesy romance novels take place.

Side note I lived in pacific islands with rainforest and were locals wore traditional dress(topless loincloths). I got way to spoiled.

Yeah, I've seen those videos before... pretty much paradise. I would like to live there someday. I've looked into it, apparently they have decent health benefits there.

This documentary is very nice! It was filmed at a naturist community here in the southern part of Brazil (although very far from where I live).
Carina is a very active person in the naturist movement here, she's part of the crew of http://www.brasilnaturista.com/ (http://www.brasilnaturista.com/) one of the main websites about naturism here. I think her as an example, specially because she is so confident, and has this strong voice towards naturism.
But in other way, I don't know if I would enjoy living in this place - after all my years living in a big city (approx. 3 million habitants), I've became "addicted" to the fast pace of the cities.

I watched this video a long time ago.
Have to live with a splitted feeling ever since; Happiness that place like that exists, and sadness because I don't, and probably never will have the luck to live in place like that.

Thanks for posting this, Danee! A very interesting documentary.
Personally, I especially loved the old gardener and what he had to say, mainly because he does not at all talk about his being naked, because he obviously takes it for completely granted and natural and rather talks about inner things at what seems to be a very high and advanced level:
"I have stopped looking for God here, there and everywhere. But I discovered that everything is here, within me. The Divine, God and existence and all that. And that's fine. So can't really be sad anymore since suffering is temporary. That's not where the pressure is, because I am immortal. If you really discover who you are, then all is well with the world. As I see it, the only thing that really matters, is to accept, to really accept what you are. Then everything is fine."

I've watched this documentary last year and I loved it! It's so true!
And I kinda fell in love with the girl, :345678 she is soo naked! I'm not talking just about the clothes, but also what she says and the way she says everything... like if Adam and Eve had never eaten the apple, if I make myself understood..

A movie that depicts, in one sense, universal value of naturism. Most of us in Asia thinks that public nudity is European or North American culture (in a sense as a "sign of decadence"). The movie blasts away those hypocrisies.

Excellent documentary. Thanks for posting this Danee. I hope to see this naturist living creates a parallel self sufficient economy that is different from the current economic model.
Personally for me ultimate goal of naturism is to live in harmony with nature and human beings alike.

I really love this documentary. My favorite part is the garden. I love my garden and I would love to e able to tend my garden in the bus. I also really related to the spiritual things that the older man was saying thanks for sharing.

It's a subtropical forest, like the ones in Europe under 45 degrees North.
It's not at all rainforest (I lived in the real rainforest and went near to Colina do Sol too).

Thanks they don't know Southern Brazil is the most Europeanized region of the country LOL
To the point Colina do Sol is in Southern Brazil, where Winter = Winter (beurk!), whereas elsewhere in the country Winter = warm Summer :D (a comment of someone who had some interest for naturism while living in tropical Brazil hehe)

Seen this WAAAAAAAY back, and I'm surprised no one had mentioned that the video referred to where she lived as a "colony", 'cause isn't it like, a "thing" that irks nudists when people say "Nudist Colony"? Even going as far as to say, "Colonies are for lepers"?

I had a similar thought... but they did found a self-sustaining village for a different social life, that is pretty much the definition of a colony.
So then, 'the fuck're all these nudists talking about with this whole, "Nudist Colonies" don't exist thing, right?

(couldn't watch to end) leaves me wondering if there are places like this in the U.S.A. I know there's a nudist resort that for can permitly live in in FL but that's still different

I ran into the 1-3 parts of this documentary of Carina in Brazil and I could recall this thread from a while back.
I’m sure most people on this website wish they could live like this. :)
