I'd like to think that anyone wearing a shirt but still nude from the waist down would obviously still be considered a nudist, but maybe I have too much trust in people.

Quote from: Delta on March 24, 2025, 01:21:05 PMApparently the rule is that beach authorities (not sure what they are, sounds like lifeguards or something) can ask people to either undress or move to clothed areas, and if beachgoers refuse to comply they can be escorted off the beach. It is also described as more of a tool in the arsenal of harrasment prevention than something mechanically adhered to, the idea is to kick people out if they are actively disturbing nude bathers rather than policing cloth.

That sounds fair to me and along the lines of what I assumed this was designed for.

I imagine it would be funny to be taken away naked.

I think I support this.  I imagine there are many other beaches in the area, in which case people who don't want to be nude can visit any of those instead.

I've heard about it and have mixed feelings. But I also think that children and young people shouldn't be forced to be naked.

Europe / German beach to force bathers ...
Last post by NakedShadow - March 23, 2025, 04:01:56 AM
The nude beach in Rostock on the Baltic coast in Germany has decided to force people to go naked. Citing the nude beach goers concerns about being leered at, German police will cite people who go to this beach without removing their bathing suits.

I applaud this action as many nude beaches are disappearing. The takeover of nude beaches by textiles is how my local beach essentially lost all nude bathers.

But it does make discussions of nude mandatory vs clothing optional. What are your thoughts?
