Has anyone ever visited Japan? I’d love to visit when everything’s back to normal after Covid... love some advice!

Three days in Tokyo and then go far and wide - a hugely diverse country.

Eat everything and don't be afraid to go into hole in the wall "cafes". Use the onsen and stay in the little places.

Just a little Japanese will be seen very favorably.

Would love to go, I've spent a lot of time in Asia but never been to Japan because it seemed so expensive. Any tips for doing it on the cheap?

Would love to go. Does anyone know of a good clean non segregated onsen? If I go with my gf it would be nice to be able to bathe together.

I spent 2 weeks there about 10 years back and it was amazing. I want to go back eventually.

I would suggest to go to Hakone which is where a lot onsens are around. I went there and went to an onsen in my hotel. There are plenty outdoor ones in the hills as well. You will have to research.

Kyoto is worth to visit. Mt. Fuji as well.

Also definitely going to Roppongi. That’s where all the bars and clubs.

Same place where Lost in Translation w/ Bill Murray was filmed. Ate at the restaurant from the movie.

You can also eat at the restaurant where Kill Bill was filmed in Tokyo. I ate there.

Lot to see in Japan.

As soon as I'm able to travel again I'll visit two friends there. I had plans for it for 2020, the year that never happened, but hopefully later this year or maybe next year.

I always recommend going to the Kansai region, Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. You can see all sorts of different aspects of Japan, all within a one-hour train ride.
