Hi,

ahh, nice memories! I was there in the year 2011 during our around-the-world-trip. There is a great story behind: They build this place during the 70s (as young people) out of nothing within desert dunes. The didn't know, if making a green village in this desert would work out or the dunes will permanetely fight against the grass. And they had to fight against the local government. A nude village was something completely new back these days.
But it worked out. Good to see also that the daughter of the founders now took over - it was not for sure how the story would continue, when we where there.

If you have the chance - go there. You can walk around the dunes to the sea for hours in your birthday suit. Maybe also an inspiring place for young people to found something similar today?

Cu,
Wartel
