So what are your guys favorite bands or artists and why? My two favorite bands are simple plan and Linkin park, because both these bands songs go with what I feel and some them just go with me. Like it some of their songs that go past events of my life or how my life is. Their songs also help relax and think many things over and over.

All good bands there. Cheers for having some good taste in music.

I like many bands from several different genres. Not hard to catch me listening to anything from Classical to Metal. Techno to Country. Blues to Goth. Doesn't really matter, but I do go through stages.
Last concert I went to had Hollywood Undead, Three Days Grace, Hellyeah, Pretty Wreckless, Avatar, and several others. Last year got to see Rob Zombie in person, so that was awesome.

My music library is very wide and varied ranging from Death metal all the way to pop. But my all time favorite band has to be Muse, I have listened to them from the very early years to present and seen the band progress to what it is now.

Muse is one of those bands where I can actually listen to their albums in entirety and like almost every song. Very rare nowadays.

-
Ozzy, Alice in Chains, Linkin Park just to name a few. There are just too many to choose just one favorite.
-
My top three are Nirvana, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Doors.
-
Favorite band of all is Dream Theater. (New album coming out on Friday!)
I also like Pink Floyd, Rush, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Megadeth, Deep Purple, Styx, Genesis (with and without Peter Gabriel), Yes, Kansas... and all kinds of classical music, new and old.
-
I know I am only gonna prove how old I am, but I go for Richie Sambora. And Bon Jovi (the late band with 4 members), and Bruce Springsteen and and and...
Okay I give you some recent stuff from Europe too, worth to listen to: try Sunrise Avenue!

I thought that Genesis had the Phil Collins as frontman. If that is the band you reffer to, my favourite 2 songs of theirs would be Land of Confusion and Invisible Touch.
-
As long as it's not rap I can support it!
Oh and country. Can't handle country music... makes me nauseous :-P

Why does country music make you feel nauseous?

Originally Phil Collins was behind the drums, and Peter Gabriel was the singer. Phil Collins got the job after Peter Gabriel left the band for his solo career.

Right, almost two completely different bands entirely, but I like the music from both eras. The earlier stuff was a lot prog-gier, and the later stuff was more radio-friendly (which is probably why most people think of "Invisible Touch" and "Land of Confusion" when they think of Genesis).

rammstein i recently redeicovred liked it havent heard it since i was like 15
