Title: RIP Lemmy
Post by: cc71 on January 02, 2016, 10:43:34 pm
Sad to hear of the passing of Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead a few days ago.  A mighty tree of the metal world has fallen.

RIP Lem, you were a legend always living by your own rules.

I never was a big fan by Motorhead, but the songs for Triple H was very good.

Rest in Peaces Mr. Kilmister

Come on Pitti, you know Lemmy better than that! That man is the Patron Saint of Rock music. Whatever higher plane he's in, you know he's at the bar, drinking Jack Daniels, Playing loud music, and scaring the residents.

@Cabding I´m a big fan of German Rock (Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte oder Frei.Wild), but I love the song "The Game". Sorry but I more a fan of Songs that I understand. I saw Motorhead on "Rock am Ring" on TV, but never live. Now I can´t never hear this band live.

P.S. When my team of Dynamo Dresden comes in the stadium, I like it when "Enter the Sandman" rings.

Had myself some Jack and coke and raised my glass to Lemmy's memory when I got word of his death.  With his passing, so goes one of the great musical acts of my lifetime.

Even the greatest are mere mortals.  First it was Dio and now Lemmy.  At least their legacy will live on.

Exactly !
I had the pleasure of attending a concert of Motörhead a few years ago, in France. I'll always remember the fierce and the energy of Lemmy. RIP

I couldn't believe it when I first heard this. Lemmy made some awesome music and did so much for the world of music. Music will never be the same without him. RIP Lemmy. Hope you're jamming with Dio and Dimebag.

Goes to show, all you have to do is what you love, and do it 100%, and you will inspire other people, and people will appreciate what you put into your chosen craft.
