Title: New hobby
Post by: Nude on December 17, 2014, 07:43:15 am
hi there, so I been getting bored easily now. So I was wondering if you guys can help me find a new hobby that is interesting. Reading is not really my thing, I always tend to fall asleep on the 4 page, unless it's a good book. I have tried writing one fan-fiction make it into my own style but still follows the actual story. I also wrote a play and a short story and a couple poems. I suck at English but I'm very good at putting in the feeling. Like you could actually feel what the character or characters are feeling. Sorry getting off track. So any ways what hobby do you guys suggest I should try?

or how about fanatic sport arts (by your own)?
or something else, what you can be interested there are many things..

but when you mean writing stories, maybe poetry slam, the new way of putting stories across?
pantomime?

You seem to like stories, but not books. Is that right? Personally I love reading, but I get that it is not everybody's favorite way to spend their free time.

I would humbly suggest taking up photography. Learn the basics on still cameras (even start on your smartphone) and then graduate to video. You can then learn to edit and make little short films (like documentary or short fiction). If you want to do fiction your can download Celtx for script writing, its free. Movies are much more about the feeling than the words, at least compared to books and poems. You may just end up really liking photography and stick with that, or not. Just start trying the cheap versions of various things and see if you like it enough to spend your free time doing.

I do like writing stories but not so much on reading books. I taken a photoshop class back in high school but was only good at taking nature pics or sun sets or animals.

Well I do have a poker account and I'm still an amateur at it but I have clean some people out of their money. Sometimes the other way around. I wrote short stories and one is similar to the Dr. Sues books. Like the one that has the orange little guy. There's a meaning about the story that goes with real life.

What's wrong with that?
Also just because you're not immediately good at something doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. That's what practice means.

I agree! Look into making brew. Start with hard cider, it's really easy to get started with that. Takes like$125to get the essential equipment you need. Then go to a recycling center to get the bottles.
