Title: Six Nations Rugby
Post by: Jackthenudist on February 06, 2016, 04:41:55 pm
Are there any other Rugby fans here who watch this?

The first match with France v Italy was very good. Great start to the tournament.

Late to the convo, but yeah I love it. There's a stupid time difference for games on Australian TV, but I catch the repeats whenever I can. Also, Ireland's on the rise, I feel it in 2017!

Four brothers all played at Club level - the whole family are tragics.

Happy to discuss the current Autumn series

Oh which club @Leah ? I played juniors in Sydney for Gordon.

I think the autumn series will be really interesting - not sure Australia will be able to match it with England, but will give Wales and IReland a good run.

All lower grade players, 2 in the bush, 1 at Southern Districts and one at Randwick - based on where or if they studied.

No not the only girl rugby fan here.  Ireland v England will be classic this year - as long as they can get a southern hemisphere referee.

Eng v Ire will be the game of the year in international rugby I think.

No - Australia taking the Bledisloe will be

For the first time in my adult life I think the All Blacks are vulnerable - there are some cracks appearing in the team structure and they have a man as captain who is compromised by the responsibility.

I agree that they're not the team they were at the world cup (Top o' the morning to you Ireland), I think we're still dreaming if we think the Wallabies will take the Bledisloe (this year). If I'm wrong @Leah I'll walk from Canberra to your place nude with a big "I was wrong" chocolate cake.  :azn:

I'd love to see it happen though. Maybe 2018.

Not 2018 - the All Blacks will have resolved there issues by then and the steamroller will continue at pace.  Also watch England implode as Eddie becomes the target for no reason other than being an outsider and he is the outsider - no one in England thinks about the game the way he does.

It was his downfall with Australia, and will be with England - it worked with Japan because they knew they had to trust him and his alternative thinking to be successful.

I know I'm late to the topic, or really really early XD
I'm a fan of rubgy, though it's not popular in Croatia, but I enjoy watching the national team and Six Nations on TV :)
