In the last few Saunas I've been to you usually get kicked out when wearing a bathing suit. :324

yes its right :3145...and maybe it was better if mrs biel informed yourself before she visited spa hotel in austria

Nudism aside. This is an example of a bad tourist. I think when travelling we should follow the "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" principle. This is just the posh version of going to Spain and eating a diet of full English breakfasts and fish and chips.

:65 not a naturist ? she's not much of an actress either imo

Ms Biel's ridiculous prudishness aside, with regard to her "balls on wood" comment isn't it the norm in Austria to sit your butt (and balls) on a towel or pefleti? The "balls on wood" situation seems insanitary and certainly not the norm for naturists/nudists in my part of the world or, I'm told, in the land where the sauna originated. I'm not sure which is worse really, "balls on wood" or being in a sauna wrapped up in Spandex and a towel.

Actually it is the norm even balls on wood feel really good!
But it seems that she had a really boring stay in Austria when this was the "funniest" story to tell. Thats what I would describe as typically austrian.

This is so right! We all should remember that we're guests in other countries and should catch up on local policies. Not everybody is as friendly as this guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTvtkUPjgXk#).

Totally right readonly :3456

These two clips are priceless.
What comes to this "balls on wood" ordeal. It is considered mandatory that you wash yourself before entering a sauna. In public pools there are written instructions at the entrances to the shower rooms that this is mandatory before entering a sauna and before entering the pool area. Small sheets of paper which have that fancy name which I don't remember now, are available too. Sauna is also washed regularly, so I don't really see a big fuss. Well, at least when it comes to private saunas, but I can see the worry in public ones.

At least in Switzerland you always sit on a towel. I thought this was common to all german speaking countries.

Can't say I agree with that one sorry, much as I prefer nude Sauna's and feel very uncomfortable in my UK local sauna which is textile only I think that people should be able to choose to cover themselves if they prefer - a towel would be ok, swimsuit not due to obvious hygiene implications - on my last visit to Germany I used a Sauna which was nudity compulsory but towels acceptable and on one occasion a young woman came in whilst I was in there and she chose to wear a towel, I saw no problem with this and she didn't seem to be bothered by my nudity or anyone else's for that matter.
Jessica Biel's reaction is perhaps a little OTT though, although "balls on wood" would not impress me much I have to admit.

Couldn't have said it better. I'm so glad I don't pay attention to or care to know who celebrities are and what they do, too much drama.
