I collect toys from the 80's. If you knew me from the previous boards then you'd know im addicted HAHA
I love the toys that came out from 1981 to 1991 primarily and im an avid ebayer trying to find everything in one type like Barbie.. I actually at one point had almost everything that ever was put out by Hasbro for JEM and the Holograms ( i was missing a VERY few pieces and one is a rarity that only 3 were made ). I just want to be able to get it and then take pics of it write down the specs on it and then resell it later and make a profit. Its an awesome fun hobby of mine.
Yes im a geek!
-
I have 4 consecutive years of baseall cards from the 1970's. All in books, in plastic. Does that get any geekier?
-
I used to collect smurfs. Only a modest collection mind you, I always wanted a smurf village when I was small and when I grew up I decided to fulfill that ambition.
I do intend to collect all the old Hasselblad lenses sometime though. It would just be so great to have the ultimate collection that someone in the 1970's could only ever dream about owning.
Unfortunately space doesn't allow us to collect anything. I've really begun to appreciate how stuff costs you money beyond the original price you have to pay for it., especially here in the UK where housing is so expensive and small. The stuff you own has to be transported around when you move, or put into storage. The more stuff you own the bigger the place you either need to rent or to buy. And so much of it ends up unused, just taking up space and being a liability. Or there's the guilty pain of having to throw away something perfectly useable for example because you were given it for free and have no use for it. The more stuff you own, the less chance there is of finding the right item when you need it too!
I'd love to be able to sell it all and move into a campervan but there would still be so much of it that I need to keep, for example, all my scientific books, my camera equipment, outdoor equipment and computers. I would also be really sad to say goodbye to items that I really saved long and hard to get but which could still be useful in the future, for example my scuba diving equipment or my paraglider.

Hello,
I for my part like collecting books, e.g. historical novels and music of all kinds on cds.
-
Hello again,
for example I have some books of Jack London, Jules Verne, Alexandre Dumas, The Hornblower Triilogy and other historical novels.
-
I collect rocks, fossils and especially meteorites.
Most of them are packed away though as we've moved around so much. When we finally settle down I'll have a display cabinet to put some museums to shame!

Oh, that reminds me, I seem to collecting Daleks. My desk is covered in the littel critters...
-
I collect shot glasses. Have ones from everywhere I've traveled to, over a hundred of them.
-
I love collecting Transformers and other robot toys. People can say the price of vintage stuff is out of hand, almost nothing compared to how much some of the newer stuff costs. I'd be lucky to find a new Soul of Chogokin for under $90!
-
Hmmm ill have to keep in mind the Unicorn thing ;)
I too collect shot glasses... well i did and stopped but apparently my family didnt get the "memo" b/c my mom still buys me them when she goes various places. Its a bit out of hand. But i have a lot of pretty neat ones. My favorite is one from the old Atlantic City Playboy club before it got shut down. Its very heavy though and im afraid my cats will break it so it gets put up on a high shelf with some other stuff.
I collect Coloring Books as well- but only from the 1980's and 1990's ( like nothing past probably 1995) and mainly those from cartoons and tv. Again huge geek here!
I think its great to see what other's collect b/c it gives you insight on who they are etc.
-
I collect DVDs/Blu-rays I think I have a little over 2000.
-
Hey look its you! I know what you collect you goofball ;) btw nice to say HI TO ME ;0 miss you 2 xoxo

I am not explicitly collecting anything but I have a very hard time throwing away books, even if I'm sure I'll never read them again.
-

Yes, it does! In the books of vintage erotica, people were reported to collect pubes of all their (former) lovers! :45
A difficult task nowadays in the "metro times", less and less you can find any... :786

Never throw them away, bring them to some library!
-
Never throw them away, bring them to some library!
Many technical books really are completely useless, a waste of space and should be recycled into something useful.
Things can turn obsolete rather fast.

You're right! Sometimes I pass by some book stores which still sell something like "Windows 98 tips and tricks" for no more than 1 Euro...
-
so yeah, i suppose i collect stuff without even really realising it!
Pretty much sums me up. Train tickets, picks, concert tickets, bits of rock... Literally anything I pick up that I find interesting ends up in my room. No wonder it's such a pain whenever we move house ^^

I have collected Star Wars action figures since I was in kindergarten, and I'm now a freshman in college. I've sort of exceeded my ability to store them, so they're starting to pile up a bit.

-
I collect Doctor Who DVDs ;)
And if thats not good enough, I also collect small bits and bobs from all countires I can
-
I collect WW2 Military Vehicles, uniform and equipment, and weapons as well as antique furniture, old books from 18th and 19th Century
-
I collect some things you probably wouldn't expect out of me....... I collect coins, yeah it's not typically a "girls" hobby, but I find it fascinating...... also old historical postcards and documents (the term for those type of things is ephemera)
I have a bunch of coins that my dad had collected... also stamps. I have not gone through them. I do have 5 old US dollar bills... when I say old, I mean one from 1935, and 4 from 1957. I can't imagine how the '35 lasted 75 years... but it is in very good condition. Now, I don't collect bills, just think it cool to have.
-
I collect a few things... biggest collection is magazines/catalogs. I even have a magazine room in my apartment.
The majority of magazines are fashion related, the 2nd most are automotive/tuner. I also collect department store catalogs though... and have a lot from around the world... always looking for more and older ones.

My desk is rapidly being overtaken by Daleks. Old ones, new ones, gold ones, black ones, Emperor ones, they're everywhere. (http://www.unsustainablefuture.com/forum/Smileys/SoLoSMiLeYS1/dalek13.gif)
Oh, and two Weeping Angels. I find myself looking at them quite a lot. (http://www.unsustainablefuture.com/forum/Smileys/SoLoSMiLeYS1/WeepingAngela.gif)

Me too - that'll be the geology degree's fault! I have a particular fondness for meteorites.

Stuart,
How many metorites you have. I also like collecting tectites.
You know anyone with some moon rocks, lol

Lots of meteorites! They're mostly with a friend who does some teaching with them just now.
I have a tiny moon rock sample - not an Apollo sample, but from a lunar meteorite. I also have a few Mars meteorite samples. They're tiny though.
I've worked with moonrocks as well - a picture of one is on this thread: http://internationalyn.org/forum/index.php/topic,527.735.html (http://internationalyn.org/forum/index.php/topic,527.735.html)
-
I hope your moon rock sample is not like the one at the Dutch Museum that was found to be from earth recently. But there are some amazing things people collect, real interesting. keep up the posts what else do you guys n gals collect.
-
Keychains oddly enough. Also I guess since I never throw them away/trade them-video games. I have maybe 200ish?

nice! I'm collecting the whole final-fantasy series (for PS1 and PS2, not online), and pokemon series (only official games).
Other than that, I don't collect much really
-
I've been an avid Olympic Pin collector for years now. I have a nice sized collection of the things. Some rare, most common. I also have other memorabilia from other sports. Fun stuff to collect I do say.
-
I always seem to be able to collect bills pretty well...lol
-
DVDs and comic books.
-
i used to have a substantial collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers toys from the 80s and 90s - a lot of them boxed or with packaging.
i sold the lot on ebay a couple of years ago for quite a bit of money.
i have small collections now.
i have a crate of Nintendo merchandise and trading cards (prized items include a complete set of 1980s Nintendo trading cards, all the Super Mario McDonalds Happy Meal toys unopened with boxes and the lenticular that went above the menu in the retaurant showing the toys, and a Japanese Legend of Zelda card game).
i also have a small collection of Godzilla stuff which would be larger if i had space and money.
-
I collect viruses. :786
But seriously, whenever a computer virus tries to mess up my system, I put it in a zip file and add it to my collection. I have this one that comes in a zip file to start with, and is so compressed that it will fill your entire hard drive if you try to extract the stuff in it. Such fun.

Sadly, I haven't gotten any viruses in months. Anybody know a virus-laden site?
-

I guess you are talking about the virus that used a zip quine. Basically, it uses a zip that contains itself. So when you unzip it, you get the original zip file which you can unzip to find itself again, and so on for infinity. The virus uses it as a mean to fight the antivirus that when seeing a zip files, extract it to see what's in it, starting an infinite loop where it extracts more stuff until the hard drive is full.
Rather self-defeating for the virus as often forces a clean reinstall.

Not quite: this doesn't have an infinite amount of data, just 4500 terabytes worth. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zip_bomb) has an article about if you're interested. (I'd upload it, but I'm pretty sure that violates the rules of the forum).

Hey, simpler can be better sometimes. :)

I have many small collections.
One is carry over from my brother who is know dead. Anycase, though him and other sources, I have many old toy cars, like hotwheels from 70s in original packaging, or even better yet original star wars figures in guess what packaging. Though that isnt what I am most proud of. I have my own collection of rocks. As young boy you kind of go though phases of being an astronaut or into Dinos. Well I never fully grew up. I have nice collection of different types of rocks, minerals and so on. Some cool specimins I have is amber with fossilized Insect in it(DINO DNA LOL), Tectites(glass like beads formed from either volcanos, meterites, or nuke explosions), many types of fossils, and few prized meterites. I actualy have good size meterite which though good friend who is into the trade helped me get.
-
I collect Coca-Cola memorabilia
-
I used to collect toy cars, but havent bought any for a couple of years. I also collect SpongeBob memoriblia, but its mostly cuddly toys.
-
I have a small collection of spinning tops.
-
I collect comics. Lots of them :P

:4345
I collect all types of baseball memorabilia. Primarily Yankee. I have autographs of Mickey Mantle, on a picture and baseball, autographed cards of Cat Fish Hunter, Don Drysdale, Ernie Banks, Pictures of Don Newcomb, Steve Garvey, Harmon Killebrew, Lou Dials from the Negro League, and many others. I have probably upward of 20,000 baseball cards going back as far as the 1940's. Lot of stuff from my father and from shows and E-bay.
-
I collect fridge magnets, dolls and comic books.
-
I collect everything...
But officially, stamps.
-
I would like to collect Ferraris. 8D
-
Ive recently started collecting shields or plaques of the various units, regiments and other defence and military entities and establishments i have been in or attached to over the years. Some of which have since been disbanded. Part of the fun is hunting them out before they can go on the wall. You can definately tell a lowering in the quality of the woodwork and mouldings of the newer ones compared to the older ones.
-
I collect Souls

At Dan93
I can relate to the garage tools and sighns etc, within my militaria collections i have been collecting the tools that came with the various military vehicles i have as well as WW2 era US army carpenters, mechanics and armourers tools and rolls, chests etc some of this stuff i highly sought after by collectors so goes for silly prices at times. Similarly i have a large collection of Gerrycans and in hunting them out i see lots of historic civilian gas station or oil company items and car company advertisement signs items which are highly saught after too. I love all that old stuff too but cant collect everything i suppose eh
My latest aquisitions have been additions to my military radio and Artillery collections but the rarest was a few additions to my WW2 GIs personal gear collection - original unused military issue shaving cream and roll of toilet paper (Yep that what i said) which make an unusual addition to my private WW2 museum
-
I collect comics, videogames and lord of the rings atratergy battle game miniatures.
-
To Dan93, yes many a time i have had to look at some item or other and not bid (booo Hooo) presently looking at a complete genuine WW2 GI field kitchen to replace the partial one i have, but dont think i should commit the funds right now. As for the loo paper it is a small roll as included in a ration pack with a label wrapped around it marked "Made for the U.S. Army by the maker of Waldorf A scott tissue, US Patent Office, Scottpaper, Chester P.A." it always gets attention when i display it with the gear at a public display. Strangely enough people love seeing or learning of those small items that are part of a WW2 soldiers life that they never think of.

Bank accounts.

17 bank accounts?? How, what.. why?

Dust bunnies. I keep a large collection of dust bunnies under the bed all winter long, then release them to the wild every spring. Apparently they reproduce like all other bunnies and re-infiltrate the room the following autumn so that they have a warm place to spend the winter.

LOL!
Unlike your dust bunnies I never release the souls I collect. For some reason they never want to come back to me L8789
-
I used to collect baseball cards and coins. Now I typically just collect good links on the internet. Never know when I might need that article or online program.
-
To Dan93
Well i surcomed to temptation and bought the WW2 US Army field kitchen. So now have one complete in every way straight out of the box never opened since it was packed in 1944 and one partial one with replica base and LP Gas burner instead of the original petrol powered system. And you will like my latest aquisition, a WW2 era British army broad arrow marked BSB large Tap and Die Set in box plus another different set with box missing. I am presently cleaning them up and retoring the remaining steel box as they have suffered abit from surface rust. But at least they were free and so far they are cleaning up nicely.
-
I collect bookmarks, coins, magnets, and have an extensive collection of 4 leaf clovers. :)
-
knives, minerals and have held onto some of my GI Joes - wish I'd been able to hold on to all of them but such is life.
Also seem to be drowning in books and magazines - time for another bookshelf maybe ;)
i would like to live more like an ascetic for mobility but can't bring myself to let go of some of my stuff.
-
i used to collect footy cards when i was a kid, these days magazines.
-
I collect coins. Mostly Morgan dollars- which are awesome. I really liked the toned coins. I also like the Perth Mint products (kookaburra, lunar, etc). I also have the Royal Canadian Mint Wildlife series.
I think I will also start to collect colt and S&W revolvers at some point. they are just so cool!
-
Here are some things I have collected in my time:
1) Doctor Who Novels
2) Star Wars Figures
3) Beano Comics
4) VIZ Magazine
5) Records on classic vintage labels
6) Classic appliances manufactured by Philips and Pye Electronics
-
Books, video games and junk that looks interesting.
-
Dario, that is an interesting list of intems to collect. Do you still have it all, would be keen to see some of the items you refer too, and yes the Viz magazines are great reading material.,
-
I collect dragon statues. I have about fifteen I think.
-
I've recently started collecting shot glasses but my main collection is T-shirts from metal concerts. I have almost 40 now :66664333

I collect bookmarks, coins, magnets, and have an extensive collection of 4 leaf clovers. :)
I collect coins too, and I am amazed at the number of ladies that do so as well. In my part of the country, it is very much an "old man" hobby.
-
I collect some things you probably wouldn't expect out of me....... I collect coins, yeah it's not typically a "girls" hobby, but I find it fascinating...... also old historical postcards and documents (the term for those type of things is ephemera)
And I also collect unicorns..... figurines, artwork, anything....... over 300 of them so far (they make a great Christmas or birthday present BTW!!!! hint, hint :234567 )
I am thoroughly impressed that a young woman is a numismatist! I have a friend from college that owns a coin shop, so he has helped me broaden my collection to include precious metals and paper money! If you're interested, I could send you a link to his shop's website.
-
i sort of collect things....i hope to own many historic firearms from the 20th century in the future and i also collect backpacks i guess (as weird as that is) i have 2 field packs from WWII/Korea and the duffle bag that goes with the M36 Musette bag from WWII...plus many modern packs
-
Fridge magnets from touristic objects only
On the right side of fridge magnets from places we were at, on the left side magnets we got as present. Sometimes magnets come from the left side to the right side :)
-
I collect torches, just love the little blighters, you never have too much light, and they are always useful, i have two attached to my keyring although one has packed up now, and they come in all sorts of shapes sizes and brightness
-
old bottles
-
Looking inside my metal bin cabinet, I saw a collection of items..
I am collecting "memories". These includes the following:
1. 3 pages of a diary of my close friend. 15 years ago.
2. a plastic bag that my close friend gave me almost 15 years ago.
3. a wooden ID when I went to a Christian retreat. 15 years ago.
4. 3 US dollars that my father gave me when I was a teenager.
5. letters. <-- When I was a teenager, I used to get love letters from girls. Now, not anymore..
6. an old train card.
7. Lots of PS3 games and lil 3DSs.
8. and other more private things..
So.. what do you collect?
-
Weight... among other things.
And Magic the Gathering trading cards. Then books - hard copies. I like to lend from libraries, but there nothing like owning your own little library.
-
Lawl. I'll second Northman's "weight" remark. *inhales yet another Oreo*
Ahem.. Anyway, I tend to collect things like: Diecast model aircraft (military) and high-end stereo gear.
-
Nothing.
-
I don't remember if I mentioned it before... I collect bicycles. I have way to many for a sane person. But there are so many different designs and styles all with different purposes.
-
My dad has a tshirt that says "I have too many bikes said no one ever"
-
I collect random bits of metal and bone
I've got a whole shoebox full of spent casings from my brother he gives them all to me whenever he goes target shooting
-
I enjoy collecting electronic devices, bowties, game consoles and old computer games.
I find it fun to collect stuff since you sort of take pride in a collection.
-
Bowties? Thats an awesome thing to collect. How many do you have?
I have the same attitude to collecting stuff. I like to increase my collection as much as possible. My magic the gathering collection is currently doing battle with my video game collection for space.
You can see some of my game collection here

-
I collect sheet music, especially orchestral scores.
-
Where do I start
Timetables
Promo posters mostly transport ones
Stickers
Books
I guess tou bags from work
-
Hmm. It looks like I've begun to amass a decent collection of Lego sets and diecast aircraft.
-
I'm also a Lego addict. I have a Lego room, some people think I have a problem.....!
I loved Lego City as a kid so that's what I still have, with a focus on trains.
My nephews and nieces still don't understand that whilst they can play with it, they can't pull it all apart....

Sure are! With traces of lead and mercury for good measure.
-
i collect miniature cars , fantasy swords and everything related to the legend of zelda videogame series :D
-
When I was a kid, I collected a massive amount of Pokemon cards. I had at least 2 or 300 (some of which were duplicates), and I would actually play the game itself sometimes.
-
Does unfinished projects count?
-
I have a small collection if old coins my dad left me. Have some that go back to the 1800's
-
I collect pounds, that's about it
-
I collect a german gaming magazine called WASD. It is pretty interesting and it started in the past years so I have all of them.
-
I collect emergency lights (Police, Ambulance etc) and Police stuff (handcuffs, Barrieren tapes, toy cars, ....).
It sounds a bit childish but over the years it developted to a little obsession to look for new stuff on eBay etc. But the money.... Always insufficent.......
-
I guess you would say I collect books.
U2 stuff, cds, dvds, books, etc.
Same with Pink Floyd.
Doctor who stuff, dvds, cds, books, figurines.
-
I collect pounds, that's about it
Do you mean pounds like the money pounds?
-

I save all the ski passes of all the different ski areas I go to and put them into a scrap book and write a little thing about the day so I can remember the day

-
I have quite an extensive board game collection now! I probably have 30+ board/card games.
Love board games, we have quite a few too. Which are your favourites?

I don't really collect anything, but I do happen to have a set of Stars Early bird figures Circa 1977 in mint condition and still sealed in the baggies with the fan club application and sticker sheet both Un-bent of folded. .. however the mailing box has gotten beat up

I just realised I've accidentally been collecting midi controllers over the past few years... I think I've got about 8 or 9 of them

My favourites @richym are Game of Thrones, Shadow Rift, Settlers of Catan: Cities and Knights, Bang!, and Arkham Horror.

I used to collect stamps when I was in middle School but not now. :confused
-

Yeah stamps, kinda like coins, I've got a small collection of them. Kind of an old school thing but it's kind of fun looking at the old coins and stamps and what they are worth and why they are worth what they are and stuff
-
I collect records, mainly funk, soul and jazz music... I started buying records years ago at op shops (thrift shops for you guys playing from outside of Australia). It has since turned into a pretty big collection, I am about one quarter of the way through cataloging it all and have just counted 1000 records... I dont collect because I compulsively want to own lots of records, I just love music haha... :)

I don't really collect anything, I don't believe. But I love to look at old coins and stamps. They make me think.
Like when you look at a stamp, torn from the envelope..... did some mother place that stamp there, ages ago, to send a letter or card to her child? Or was it an announcement of a birth? Or a birthday party invitation? Was it a social letter, or a family letter, or a legal notice?
The same with coins ... I always wonder where they have been. If a quarter is dated 1965 ... in those 50 years, how many people have touched it? How many pockets has it been in? Did someone use it to purchase a newspaper? (Heh... surely a newspaper only cost 25c at some point in those 50 years.) Did some child buy an ice cream with it? How many people actually looked at it, versus just pocketing it?
Perhaps it is good that I do not collect things, as it would take my entire life to think through the possibilities.

I collect movie ticket stubs. I've kept them from all the movies I've seen since the first X-Men in 2000.
-
Mystery Mini figures mostly. I just like the thrill of not knowing what I get and then being excited when I get the one I wanted. :afro:
-
Coins, sharks teeth, and I help my daughter gem stones we find.
-
yes :)
I collect Vinyl, Blu-Ray Movies and Piano Books
-
I collect vintage glass, and tin cans. I am always looking to add to my collection.
-
I collect music (CDs and vinyl), clocks, eagle things (little statues, stuffed animals, etc.) and books
-
I collect LEGO minifigures and Xbox games.
-
Guns, random antiques, walking sticks and digital media. I've got lots of books, movies and music backed up. Getting to the point where I'm considering some kind of "network attached storage" server. I've got several old Singer sewing machines from around the 40s. A couple are treadle powered. Old 30. caliber ammo cans lol. I snatch em up all the time. Just the smell of em is nostalgic to me.
-
The only thing I collect is Pokemon on ORAS... I'm sure that doesn't count though ^^;
-
If you goto my house, I have the biggest collection of dust around. XD
-
I collect swords. Not the most normal or safest things to collect but I'm not complaining.
-

What kind? I've always been into medieval weaponry. Always wanted a legit katana. Gonna be making myself a set of kama and a kusarigama eventually.

I've got 4 katanas, 2 machetes, a replica of the assassins creed sword, lord of the rings sting replica, and a few of those $20 swords that you can buy off amazon. I really want to try and find a real Japanese nco shin-gunto sword from WWII.

I'm collecting BIONICLE sets and Play Arts Kai figures! =D

Oh man. I haven't seen a bionicle figure in years. I'm so tempted to try and find the original figures. Brings back a lot of memories.

Im trying to collect interesting stones around where I live. At the moment I just have 2 bits of petrified wood and some browny pebble thing think its called a churt agate or something like that.
-
I tried to collect Anime figures but they were quite the money sink so I only bought a few I could get my hands on.
I also collect the first volumes of manga I enjoy, because buying the complete set for like 20 or so would be insanely pricey and takes up room.
When The World Ends With You was relevant, I collected mini pin buttons, but those are probably long gone.

Ooooo what anime figures do you have? I have a lot, most of them are bikini ladies and stuff though :3

Nendoroid of Erica Hartmann from Strike Witches, Figma of Henrietta from Gunslinger Girl, Figma Fix of Shimakaze from KanColle and Shinobu from Bakemonogatari, EX Figure Fruit Punch Rei Ayanami from NGE, Banpresto 2014 Racing Miku.
Not that many, and pretty varied stuff. I'm more intrigued by the craftsmanship more than anything. Once I settle down, I'll probably hunt down and make my ultimate collection. One day...
-
I collect first day covers and english football programmes (about 1200 in total)
-
I'm basically an overgrown, nerdy kid/adult. Up until recently, I found myself buying select LEGO sets, diecast models of warplanes, and action figures. I've since put the kabosh on collecting as I move towards a more minimalist lifestyle. Resisting temptation can be difficult at times, as there's a lot of cool stuff out there. :D
-
My boyfriend and I have started collecting sake sets. I was just thinking yesterday how we have maybe 10 or 11 different sets, and he immediately says out loud "We need to buy another sake set."
Creepy.
-
I collect gemstones. I've actually amassed a decent collection by now. It's one of the few things I actively like to drop money on because I'm so passionate about it.
-
Model railway stuff, mostly two rail 00 gauge... lots of that but also have some 3 rail dublo as seen in my thread in hobby hut I’ve also got some tinplate hornby Meccano 0 gauge with a working clockwork tank engine. There used to be two but it seems my grandad gave it away 😢
Edit: should also mention my own slot car toys and my dads vintage stuff too as seen in my avatar. Dunno how I forgot that when it is right in front of me on screen lol
-
I collect stamps for almost 25 years

Cars :afro:
If model cars, nice! And if real cars.. expensive but even more awesome! Been into cars since I can remember but don't really collect any model cars anymore, or real for that matter. I fantasize to have Jay Leno's garage one day.
-
I collect cars from the 80s :rotfl2: scale 1:1 hahah
And also some cool stuff from the 80's
-
You should all post pics of your collections

Real cars haha. Not that big of a collection yet and I'm considering selling of one. I'm into Japanese late 80 to early 00 sports cars, mostly Nissan and even more Nissan S-chassis

Nice! What models specifically! Love the Z series of Nissans, new and old. Can't wait to see the new one coming out in person. Looks like a nice blend of new and old.

Ive wanted to get into pokemon but it is banned here sadly
Why’s that?
Because supposedly it supports the “theory” of evolution which is considered false in Islam. It is a really stupid reason.

I still have part of my once massive Pokemon card collection
Now I'd say I have a collection of computers and computer parts but it's rather small as I sold a bunch of it recently.

I guess I can say I have a collection of used computers and computer parts as well.. aka mine is just old junk that I haven't thrown out yet. And of course, my collection of old cables that I'll never use and for some reason still keep.. :laughing

Same here. I have two broken laptops (3 if you count the one I’m using) need to get rid but no money for a new one. And I have no idea what most of the cables are from.

HAHA Its always the cables! I have a plastic tub full of them. Why, no idea but hey, you never know when one may come in handy I guess!

I like the S chassis specifically. The new z looks great, I usually have a hard time with reboots of classic cars but that one hits just right

Yah the reboots are usually terrible. Not that it's old.. but the reboot of the supra.. Yuck.

I collect pokemon cards and I'm slowly collecting art
What art are you collecting?
@Fishandchips Sorry for the late reply. I'm collecting nude art mostly. I'm fascinated by how unique everyone is. We are all different. Even identical twins have differences.

I completely agree with you. The nude form is the truest version of ourselves. I've always been fascinated in seeing the anatomical differences between identical twins since usually you only see the parts that aren't covered by clothes like hair and faces.

Yes!! When I’m traveling, I always go to flea markets to collect old war pins and medals! If I’m in the US I’ll look for us medals, but I love when I’m traveling in an ex-Soviet country. These countries flea markets have so many medals from WWII! And the prices are amazing so I end up with a whole bunch on them in my suitcase lol!
-
I have been collecting freshwater mussel shells every time I go to the river the past few years
-
I guess I could link my topics here too. Done one showing the old Dublo three rail collection but not so much the newer 90s 00s collection because basically I’ve got shit loads in boxes that would be a nightmare to dig out. I’ll post some in future as I get things out for any reason

The only more modern models I’ve got posted here for now.

I've been collecting Skylanders for eight years, seven months and 5 days lol :booby
-
I have recently (re)started to collect Lego and other construction blocks brands, especially cars for now. Maybe it's an addiction because i reached a total of 1,500 euros spent in them within 8 months :laughcrying:
-
I have a jar full of neat rocks and shells I picked up when I was younger. I don't contribute to it at all anymore, but I love going back and revisiting it on the occasion for memories.
-
Since someone mentioned Lego I still have all mine somewhere. Keep getting nagged to sell it but can’t bear to… 🙁

You better keep them, i think they're unfashionable toys and in case you want to sell them, take a look at bricklink. It's an useful website for having an idea of the value of what you own.

I doubt I’d be able to tell them what exactly I’ve got as sets got mixed up so much that even I don’t know what’s what anymore. I’ll keep them in mind though.
