Meanwhile, I'm the exact opposite.  I have zero problems with strangers seeing me nude.  But friends, or people that I know in a non-nudist way?  Aw hell naw.

Welcome Cade!  I hope you make some friends while here!  Most nudists are pretty chill, so I don't think you'll run into any issues on your first trip to a beach or resort.  And to answer your question:  It takes awhile before you're given access to PM's.  Just post, have fun, and you'll be able to do so soon enough. 

Yeah I'll take that leap for sure in the next coming months(I can't imagine being naked in this freezing weather lol) thanks for the reassurance.

Aw man I'm so happy for you.  My younger self is also a bit jealous!   All of my friends were shy AF when I was a teen.  And to be fair, so was I!  Meaning we never got comfortable enough to change in front of each other, let alone see each other fully nude.

That said, I suppose this all explains why you were so open to say: "Hey, wanna like, get nude at a beach together?".  I'm sure you didn't say it exactly like that, but you get what I'm saying.   

I can be a bit shy but I'm lucky to be surrounded by people who absolutely are not and so the conversation more or less went exactly like that

Hi Cade, welcome!  Totally get your nervousness with going to a beach, I remember feeling nervous my first time, but it really is a great feeling once you get over that fear!

Hey, did you end up going by yourself the first time, or with some friends?

I went with a friend the first time, and then again alone shortly after. Admittedly, it was a lot easier to go with a friend, but I'd regret never going if he didn't go with me the first time.

Ahh the wisdom, I'll try and muster up the courage hopefully this summer:)

I'm currently about halfway through Severance, can't wait for the new season of White Lotus

Severance S2? How is it (no spoilers pls lol)? Also what's White Lotus like generally, is it good? I've been considering it for a couple of years.

Well this is embarrassing...I never heard of Severance until this year and thought season 1 just came out recently...so I'm halfway through season 1.

I think White Lotus in general is great though, and I thought Season 2 of it was even better than Season 1!
