If you’re interested in naturism/nudism and investigating it via the internet, you’ll probably find a few articles explaining what naturism is and how to get involved. But you’ll probably still have quite a lot of questions and confused thoughts which won’t really go away until you’ve actually got into nudism as a way of life and have some experiences of your own.
The following guide is intended to be a little different to the usual “Tips for the Newbie” articles you will find. But hopefully it will be helpful to you if you have made the decision that naturism is for you and you are now trying to find a place for that in your life.

What a great post, and it offers some good advice. I like the one about blogs and a truck driver with issues. I laughed at that one but so true. The pervs are out there, sad to say. When I started I wasn't a member here, but I found talking with others close to my age, sharing experiences has really helped me to understand what I was feeling about my nudity. It is not just as simple as taking your clothes off. Most resorts are older people. It's hard to find others near my age. With the help of others, I learned that I wasn't a pervert for enjoying being nude. Becoming a naturist takes time and doesn't happen over night.

one supplemeent:
it is totally different what kind of people you meet at nudist places. my parents choosed nudist places for holidays , where are always a lot of kids /teens in my age and a lot of fams.
at the local lakes in our neighbourhood are almost fams with little kids or old people and more singles, not so many couples or groups of younger people. there i am not so comfortable with nudism :thinking:

As someone who recently became a nudist, this is exactly what I needed
