I see a lot of movies, and this is definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen. Might go see it again.

That’s one of the few I haven’t seen. I’ve seen Guardians of the Galaxy, The Little Mermaid, Fast X, dungeons and dragons. And many other small ones.

I saw it last week and I honestly feel robbed of an ending. I hate when movies end with "to be continued" and then you have to wait a whole year to see the continuation, at which point you don't remember much from the first movie. It also gives the impression the movie is unfinished. I don't like paying full price for an unfinished product.

I kinda get it though. At its core it’s a movie for young people, probably mostly kids, so it would be a bit ridiculous to make the movie five to six hours long. Especially because some parents might not be interested in investing that much time into a children’s movie, making it so that some kids would never be able to watch it in theaters with their parents. And at the end of the day, it’s a massive story and they wanted to be able to give it the time and care it needs in order to ensure the quality was top notch

There are many movies with several parts but somehow they manage to find an ending for each part that makes sense while still having an overarching story. I'm not saying they should always put all they have into one movie, but that ending was an absolute disaster, or shall I say there was no ending  :confused

people who say the movie is "unfinished" is baffling to me. for one, have you never heard of a two part movie? and also there is SO MUCH EFFORT AND WORK put into this one movie, the animation is amazing the story is compelling, pretty much everything is perfect. people undermine everything good about it because it ends on a cliffhanger
legends say he still cant think of something to draw...

sorry but I don't see anything "perfect" in that movie... I really didn't like the constant framerate switching in the animation, it felt like the projector was lagging; the beginning of the story is good, sure, but "perfect" is a bold statement. I can't say anything about the end or the full story because I haven't seen the second part, and the part that we got just can't be considered as a complete story on its own. There were good things in the movie, but that doesn't mean we all have to pretend the bad parts don't exist.
